Yesterday was such an encouragement. It was very refreshing to catch up with friends and hear how God is working in each of their lives and families. There was much conversation about adoption so that was really exciting as well!
We head home today. It will be really nice to sleep in our own beds, not have to dig out of suitcases to find anything and have a regular schedule!
If any of you have great ideas how to get training hours for the adoption - through adoption seminars, conferences, or other adoption related trainings (especially the 4 in-person hours we need) please let me know. I will research more when we get home to see about how to get that done asap. We were unaware of this but have been told that we have to have those hours in before we can schedule our first home visit. Oh well. I guess this helps us be extra diligent and prevent the home study from dragging on & on & on.
