Last night we went to an Adoptive Family Get-together. It was a nice time. We met some other families, talked and heard from a 20 year old adopted young man and there was a Q&A time for parents to ask questions about his experience as an adopted child. It was valuable & we were glad we dragged our weary bodies there!
Today the weather was much cooler (in the 80's) and we sat out under our tree on the swing together and enjoyed the breeze and each other's conversation.
We had our last small group meeting tonight with good discussion about Jesus' teaching from the Sermon on the Mount. We also enjoyed brownies & ice cream :)
We have been able to keep track of our Dossier package with our handy tracking number. It was in transit from Chicago bound for Oregon at 11:49 pm last night. We'll find out later tonight where it is today when we get our email update!
It looks like we have a very busy week ahead and as always we keep you up-to-date as life unfolds :)
