Sentencia Day Photos

Craft time with limited supplies

Saying good-bye to Papi as he left for the "Sentencia" signing appointment

Papi signing our "Sentencia" papers

We are so thankful and happy and relieved that Ladi and Joana are officially Armstrongs! No court strikes or anything this time thankfully. Our process has been blissfully uneventful so far.

We called the lawyer tonight to ask a question and she confirmed we will not be able to leave for Bogota until Wednesday. Monday and Tuesday will be busy with errands that must be completed before we move on.

We are very glad we made our Bogota reservation for Wednesday for a little larger apartment that would accommodate our family better. We weren't sure which day to reserve and the lawyer told us Thursday evening that we would fly out Tuesday afternoon...but the apartment we wanted was not available on Tuesday so we belabored over trying to choose a different, less desirable apartment, that was available on Tuesday instead. Anyway, we are so glad we did not choose the other one and opted to arrive Wednesday since that is the more realistic day we will actually leave Cali and move on to Bogota.

Tomorrow/Saturday we are supposed to go with the hotel families to a sugar cane museum in the morning. We are looking forward to it and are really glad to have an outing to keep us all occupied!
