Day 19 - Leisurely Day Together

We are just hanging out here at the casa today. Not too much going on except eating and sleeping. We are all pretty tired today. Papi has a sore throat again and Mami is starting to get one. Andres has a runny nose and Claudia snorts and clears her throat at nighttime. Anji seems fine so far.

We have been playing with balloons and all kinds of other little toys. We are trying to teach our kids NOT to put the toys in their mouths. All of a sudden because they have seen the twins doing it, they are wanting to put all kinds of stuff in their mouths. Problem: the toys are dirty! They also like to drag their favorite blankets, animals and even pillows on the floor but the floor here turns the bottom of our socks dark black.

We were sad that we could not go to church again. The other family was not up to it and we did not know where to go and did not have a ride. We heard the phone ring and were hoping it was a conference call from our beloved Sunday School class! :) We really miss all of our special friends & family! Any of you holding off writing because you think we are too busy - feel free to drop us a note or email - we have time at the very least to read notes and maybe even send a short note back!

Hello! I have enjoyed reading your blog. It makes me want to be right back in Colombia. I am glad that you were able to go for a drive and to the park. Matt and I found out very quickly that this helps greatly but we only had one child to worry about in Colombia. Now home with all three I am not so quick to run around town with all three in tow! We are having a winter thunderstorm complete with lightning and snow right now in Metamora. Enjoy your time in Colombia and I hope you all feel better soon!

Dust to Glory praised the Lord today for all He's doing in your family!!! We can't wait to have you all at Bethany! The snow, thunder and lightning right now are incredible and the girls are hoping for another snow day. We're skipping the Super Bowl tonight and instead will watch another Christy episode. We'll have lots of old shows you can borrow for your kids someday! Know that we love you guys and pray for you daily! The Hodges

Watching the Super Bowl - at the half Patriots are ahead 7-3. :)

It's a weird weather day here. When we came home from house to house (@ 5pm) we didn't have any power. Had a sandwish supper by candlelight - that was fun. Now we have power.

Praying for your family today.
