Today we went to get haircuts for the kids!!! The lady did such a great job that we had not only Claudia and Anji’s hair cut but also Andres’! They all look really fantastic with their new styles and the girls especially love their new cuts! This salon had such a great kids area - with fun special chairs, a play area and beverages for the waiting parents! It was a wonderful experience and Mami & Papi took lots of pictures!
The new couple moved in this morning and we are so glad to have them here. They are at their ICBF appointment now and will be coming back pretty soon with their two girls. Our kids are quite captivated by the new couple! Moments after their arrival, Mami found the girls in the couple’s room, sitting on their beds, talking their ears off! Mami told the girls that the couple needed some privacy so they could unpack & rest and shooed them from the room, shutting the door. But, the girls have been found continually climbing up to peer in their window!

It has been a really good day. The kids have done well even with the new additions to our shared home and we have had very few major problems minus whining. We are so thankful as we approach our 2 week mark together. J
The past several days have been great. The childrens' personalities are shining through and they are better understanding everything - one proof that they understand and like the structure is that Anji often parrots our instruction to the others, and while she often excludes herself from the understood requirement, we know that she is getting it. All the children are so sweet and tender. We can see that we are all growing daily into a family with leadership, tenderness, listening, obedience, and correction when necessary. This goes for J & I with God, and the ninos with us. We are really seeing great fruit. How exciting!!! Thank you for your prayers and kind supportive comments. K

What cute haircuts! They look so happy! You guys are doing great! I'm so glad that you have this other couple moving in, to "encourage one another and build each other up." It's neat that God has provided you for one another. God is so good!
Loved the update. We laughed out loud about Anji giving instructions she herself chooses not to follow. John and I have done such a "great" job, we have 4 with that skill! I often find myself saying..."How many moms are in this family? I've got it covered!" Love the pictures and can't wait till you guys are home! God is in the family building business! Monica

So, so cute! I recently took the kids to a "Cookie Cutters" salon (I had coupons!) . . . they have fun seats, the kids get to pick a video and watch it at their station . . . very fun!
