Little Jobs = Lots of Work

Greetings! It has been a full day over here with lots of catching up & miscellaneous jobs around the house! I have been sitting for who knows how long (3 hours maybe?!?) working to get our budget caught up. It has been a big, frustrating but important job. We hadn't had time to enter anything since late August so you can imagine........I still have receipts all around me that need to be put away.

Karl is working on assembling the Kids' bookcase that was all painted but needed a new back piece. He's also worked on smoothing out an area in the bathroom ceiling from a previous-owner-patch job that was really shotty; he's good at that.

We also finally chose a new paint color for the LR! We'll go next week to have the paint made.

We designed the Kids' closet online today so we now have a nice 3-D picture and a shopping list of the parts we need to buy so that will all be ready as a potential project for next Thursday's Work Night.

2 of the 3 blinds are hung in our LR window now (thanks to another couple coming back over to finish hanging them from the Thursday Work Night) and the blinds look good! The 3rd one needs trimmed and then we can hang. We have the measurements now & hope to make it to the store to have them trimmed tomorrow.

Some other big news is that I think we must have some kind of record for receiving a passport renewal back so quickly!!! Karl's passports (old & new) arrived yesterday!!! Yippee!!!
